Design Circle was founded in 2008 as an inclusive group of individuals who work in and around the built environment and the natural spaces between. The voluntary group meets monthly and runs a wide range of events according to the members’ collective decision – these have included large scale charrettes, exhibitions, competitions and social nights to name a few.
​
Officially the South Wales branch of the Royal Society of Architects in Wales, itself part of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Design Circle has always opened its doors beyond architects, and has included artists, planners, technologists, cost consultants, engineers, students, developers and many, many more. If you care about our built environment and its impact on the environment and are willing to get involved to make a difference (and have some fun), then come along and find out more about Design Circle.
